Marpha

Marpha is popular village of Mustang District, best known for the production of apples & also call Marpha is a valley of the apples. Old traditional mud houses with white painted and windows are in red.It is also known as the main residential region of Thakalis. Thakalis were also known as the great traders in the past. There is a Samtenling Gompa in Marpha, Which is belongs to Nyingma pa Tradition of Buddhism.
