The Himalayan Region ;
The Himalayan range makes up the northen border of the country and represents 16% of the total land area of Nepal. The northern range (Himalayas) is covered with snow over the year Gorgeous mountains, high peaks, where the highest peak of the world Mount Everest stands. The altitude of 8848 meters Mt. Everst aparse vegitation is found ou to 3000 meters above the sea level.
The Hill Region;-
This region covers 65%of the total land area of the country. Kathmandu, the capital of the country of Nepal, is loketed here. Elevations range from 500 to 3000 meters above sea level.
The Terai Region;-
The terai covers 17% of the tatal area of Nepal. It provides excellent farming lad and the average elevation of flatlands is 100 to 300 meters above sea level. The southern range (tarai) is the gigantic plain of alluvial soil and insists of dense sub tropical forest area, national parks, wildlife resources and conservation areas.
The temperature and the rainfall differ from place to place. In the geographic diversity and varied climatic conditions, 2.5 million people of more than 60 ethnic groups & more than 70 deffirent languages are accommodated in the country.
Nepal is known as Switzerland of Asia, a very attractive center of tourism. Living legends, cultural festivals, religious shrines, ancient monuments, towering mountains, friendly people are the major attractions for the tourists who visit Nepal from distinct nook and corner of the world.
